UAV hit halts flights at Ramon Airport

The drones, which were launched from Yemen, hit the expatriate hall at Ramon Airport, near Eilat, wounding two people.

The Israel Defense Army confirmed that a drone launched from Yemen had hit the passenger station at Ramon Airport near Eilat. Two people were lightly injured. The Israeli defense spokesman said the incident was being investigated. Three other drones were intercepted from Yemen.

The Israel Airports Authority announced that the southern air area over Ramon Airport has been closed to air traffic. The Authority said: “A short time ago, a drone that was launched from Yemen was hit by Al -Wafidin Hall at Ramon Airport in Arava. At this stage, the situation was frozen, and the takeoffs and landing operations were stopped in Ramon.
