ALIC has obtained the start of the Swedish operation on a new investment to accelerate its mission of converting logistical services for construction, which raised a new financing led by Nordic VC People projects and with the support of more Pi Labs investors.
The new capital, the total company, rises to 7 million euros.
Alrik builds what you describe as the global construction logistics system, which is a continuous platform for unifying suppliers, merchants, truck tankers, construction sites and construction sites. Indeed, a dominant player in Nordics with clients including Saint-GibaIN, Byggmax, Renta, Sonsab, XL -Bygg and Karl Hedin, the startup expands all over northern Europe.
“Think about Alrik as Doordash to build material dealers,” said the founder and CEO of Nici Sundén-Culberg. “We take care of chaotic logistics so that our customers can focus on selling and serving construction sites.”
The co -founder and chief official of the producer Axel Enblad said that the statute replaces the functioning of the analog work and the segmented systems with an integrated digital infrastructure. He said: “We lead to automation to send transport sources, bill management, and communicate smoothly with ERPS, transport companies, drivers and work sites.”
Building is an industry of 15 trillion euros, with an estimated 10 % of logistical spending – many of which still depend on manual processes and phone calls. The Alrik program platform simplifies these processes, and provides features such as tracking automatic emissions and full invoices. On average, customers are 25 % decrease in the costs of logistics services per delivery.
Using increased over the past year, with revenue and application increased more than ten times. Monthly charges across the platform increased from 2000 to more than 25,000. With every trader capable of communicating with an increased environmental system that includes thousands of transport companies and more than 100,000 unique construction sites, the network effects are exacerbated quickly.
“Alrik solves one of the largest friction points in the construction industry,” said Dhruv Gupta of Pi Labs. “They don’t only improve logistical services-they open new revenue opportunities and build an ecosystem ready for the future.”
Thérèse Mannheimer at People Ventures agreed, describing the ALRIK SAAS model as “smart and developed and built in the long run.” The company was recently named the most software company in Sweden 2024 by Breakit.
The new financing will be used to increase the development of ALIC products and the going to the market, and support its customers in the institution as it is expanded to the main markets throughout Europe.
