On May 22, 2025, children from Orphans at the Uganda Center for ChildrenOrphanage in East Uganda Bitcoin Kampala Society, made a wild trip to the zoo thanks to part of Bitcoin donations from all over the world.

The team that helps in financing and operating the orphanage chose to take the trip on Bitcoin to show orphans, many of whom did not leave the village in which the orphan house is located, and that anything possible, such as Laszlo Hanycz, showed the world to pay goods and services in the possible Bitcoin when he paid 10,000 Bitcoin for thirty in May 22, 2010.

“We have organized this trip to give children hope and open their minds as possible,” Brendon, Bitcoin Kampala, founder of Bitcoin, told Bitcoin.

“Last year, we started to teach them to write their dreams on the laptops that we presented to them, and when we asked what they wished for Christmas, their answers were simple: visit the capital, watching animals, and travel,” he added.

“Bitcoin’s pizza day in ENTEBBE Zoo has become the perfect way to make these dreams in life while teaching them about Bitcoin.”

MWIINE also indicated that this was the first time that children ride the extended bus, crossed the Nile, traveled across the capital of Kampala, and explored the zoo – and tasted the pizza.

“They have experienced him together as a family,” said Moin, who added that he was more private because he was his supporter and children.

Edith Mbumaire, a Blink Wallet Marketing Team and a person working with Bitcoin Kampala, said what MWIINE said.

“This journey is the first of its kind (for these children),” said MPUMWIRE in the video included in the X Publication above.

She added: “Most of these children are from the east of Uganda (and) remain in a small house located in Bohiri. They never left Boagiri, so, for them, today is the first day that not only visits the zoo, but left their container.”

MPUMWIRE also referred to how to partially thank Bitcoin to enable orphans to take this trip.

“The global bitcoin community contributes to their livelihoods (and) here we take them on a wild journey (where) they can see a small national garden, Lake Victoria and many animals.”

You can contribute to orphans at the Uganda Center for Children through the project Heater page.
