CRUSOE, founded in 2018, developed DFM technology to convert natural gas from oil fields, which will be burned as torches, to electricity for standard data centers. The company initially used these data centers to extract Bitcoin before expanding the burdens of artificial intelligence work (AI) with GPU groups. CRUSOE approach to computing with energy production contributed to reducing the environmental impact with the use of the powerful energy sources.

CRUSOE mining has published more than 425 unit data centers, representing more than 250 megawatts of power through multiple states, including Colorado, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utas, Texas, and internationally in Arginina. According to the company, its DFM technology has reduced 2.7 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions and prevented nearly 22 billion cubic feet of natural gas.

“The mechanism for proving work in Bitco Blockchain stimulates the convergence of energy and computing,” said co -founder and CEO of Chase Lochmiller. “Crusoe is proud to be a pioneer in the reuse of wasted energy resources otherwise, such as the burning of gas to operate the Bitcoin network. Our innovative approach to energy used in mining is uniquely complementary to NYDIG Bitcoin, and we will continue in institutional trading, greatly distort energy companies.
