In a strong statement against unfair judgments, mothers were fired against harsh rulings (MACS), a non -profit institution founded by Lin Olbrecht, today at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference.
MACS seeks to unify voices from all over the political gap and technological society to advance a meaningful reform in the laws of issuing judgments.
“Many thousands of people, many of whom are not violent, like Ross, spend severe sentences – have been disposed of for years, decades, and even age,” said Ulbricht. “MACS aims to give families a voice to pay for just and reasonable judgments, as the punishment is suitable for crime.”
ULBRICHT will officially present the organization through Women of Bitcoin Brunch, a major event in the conference that brings women influencing the world of bitcoin to discuss the invitation, innovation and influence.

Ross ULBRICHT became a controversial figure after Silk Road launch in 2011, an online market that used Bitcoin for unknown transactions. While the site was unfortunately used to sell illegal drugs, it was the first state of use in the real world of Bitcoin, as it displays the power of decentralization resistant to control.
In 2015, Ulbricht was sentenced to a double imprisonment of life without the possibility of conditional release. Its punishment soon became a symbol of the government to overcome many in technology and bitcoin world. Critics argued that his punishment exceeded the limits of justice, especially given the non -violent nature of his crimes.
The amnesty, shortly after Trump’s promise, is seen as a strong step to honor the promises of the campaign, support the Bitcoin values for personal freedom and resist the overpowering of the government. The celebration has sparked the Bitcoin community, but also reminded the defenders that the struggle for justice has not yet ended.
The Bitcoin community continues to call for compassion and support for others, including Samourai Wallet developers who are prosecuting to create privacy tools, and Edward Snowden, who is still in exile to reveal government monitoring programs.
