Ilya Sustkever’s SSI declines Meta acquisition offer – report

Safe Superintelligence (SSI), which has become one of the most interesting companies in artificial intelligence, has refused, although it has not yet launched a product, but the Meta (Facebook) acquisition offer earlier this year, according to CNBC reports. In April, SSI raised two billion dollars with the company’s evaluation of $ 32 billion.

SSI was founded last year by Openai founder and former Elya Sutskever, a Canadian Israeli, Daniel Gross, a former Israeli who led Amnesty International initiatives in Apple, and Daniel Levy, who was previously working as an Openaii researcher. The company has offices in Palu Alto and Tel Aviv, and has already rented a team of major artificial intelligence experts in Israel.

After the rejection, the CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg continued with one of the founding partners of SSI, Daniel Gross, as well as his partner in the management of the NFDG investment fund that he heads, Nate Friedman, “Information”.
