Giorgio Armani, the Italian designer who built one of the world’s most recognisable fashion empires, has died at the age of 91.

Giorgio Armani, the Italian designer who built one of the most famous fashion empires in the world, died at the age of 91.

The Armani Group confirmed his death in a statement on Sunday, saying: “With the endless sadness, the Armani Group announces its passing from its Creator and its founder and the strength of the hard motive: Georgio Armani.”

Armani died at home. His death comes a few months after being forced to miss his performances at Milan Fashion Week due to health aid – the absence of widespread concern across the industry.

The Armani brand was established in 1975, and it became a synonym for the elegant and modern Italian style, as it caused a revolution in sewing with more soft silhouette and elegance. The company has grown to a global force, as annual revenues exceed 2 billion pounds through its sections, costumes, cosmetics and home appliances.

Armani himself was considered one of the most influential designers in the late twentieth century, thanks to the reshaping of the appearance of men’s suits and generations of dressing from Hollywood stars and business leaders. His work has become a strange word for luxurious luxury and “quiet strength sauce”.

In an interview with him recently with The Financial Times, Armani said he was preparing for the caliphate with a “gradual transition” from responsibilities to his nearest collaborators, including his long -time colleague Liu Deloco, his family and his executive team.

He said: “My caliphate plans consist of a gradual transition to the responsibilities that I have always dealt with with the closest to me.” “I want to be membership, not a moment of rupture.”

Armani reassured the fans after losing Milan’s offers earlier this year, thanked the audience and promised: “I see you in September”.

Armani was born in Piasinza in 1934, when he started his career as an excuse for the window before moving to fashion design, rapidly rose to the lead. For nearly five decades, it turns his name into a global symbol of Italian and literal style.

His death is the end of the fashion industry, although it is expected that the brand in which he was built under the supervision of the inner circle that documented it will continue to continue to see it.
