One of the people said that Shin wanted initially to list India’s clothes on its American and British websites. The person said that the discussions have been going on for months and may change the time of release from six to 12 months, depending on the numbers of suppliers.

The supplier expansion scale and the export time frame for the first time are reported.

Shin said in a statement that Shin licensed her brand for the local use of accreditation “responsible for manufacturing and chain of supply, sales and operations in the Indian market alone.”

In December, the Minister of Trade and Industry told Joilel Joyal Parliament that the Shane Accreditation Partnership aims to create a network of Indian suppliers for branded clothes for sale “locally and globally”.

Building demand for demand

SHEIN is a fast giant that gets annual revenues of more than $ 30 billion through low prices and aggressive marketing. Most of its products are from China with each other in countries like Türkiye and Brazil.

Its expansion in India reflects interest in the country, such as Walmart and others throughout the global fashion and retail industries, especially those looking for suppliers outside China due to the US -Chinese trade war.

The Shein India application has been downloaded 2.7 million times via Apple and Google Play stores, with an average of 120 % per month since its launch.

During the first four months, the shows reached 12,000 designs, a small part of 600,000 products on the American Shen website. In the category of women’s dresses, its price was cheaper in 349 Indian rupees (4 dollars) compared to $ 3.39 on the American website as of June 9.

The two people said that the Indian partner, Rillance, who runs the application, works with suppliers to assess whether they can repeat the best international sellers in Shein at a lower cost.

Relination aims to simulate the Shein manufacturing model, and ask the suppliers to obtain at least 100 pieces for each design before increasing the production of those who sell well.

China’s CEOs in China recently said to understand the Shein “innovative” supply chain operations, data -based design and “Speck Digital Marketing”, Manish Aziz, Shein India’s assistant in Reliance Retail, in the LinkedIn post, called Shein and “really unbelievable”.

This partnership is one of the dozens that have a veriant with fashion brands, such as Brooks Brothers and Marks and Spencer. The company also runs the AJIO e -commerce website and its retail network is competing with Amazon and Walmart’s Flipkart as well as retailers like Tata’s Zudio.

The people said that Relination plans to work with new suppliers for the source of the textile – especially the fabric using artificial fibers as India lacks experience – and imports the required machines.
