BREZ Tech announced last week the support of webassembly (WASM) for Breez SDK without sticks. They had to reformulate a number of parts of SDK to make bitcoin and lightning in the browser, implement new ways to seize Blockchain data, deal with databases in memory, deal with DNS accuracy, interact with file systems via various platforms, etc., etc.
Now a portfolio or application can work completely.
I am sure that many of you are wandering immediately and thinking about security concerns, and I will be the first to say that storing any financial amount or a large percentage of your wealth in this way is crazy, but part of everyone’s staple should be already being used.
The future of Bitcoin as a real cash network is not one with a million different applications and devices, abandoning it to find the right depending on what you are trying to do or the type of treatment you are trying to do. There is a room for what you provide, what you spend, but more complicated in terms of the ability to operate very far from your ordinary person.
Savings can lead to some complexity and friction, but when it comes to bitcoin actually, it should be smooth and integrated everywhere. If Bitcoin will be the future of money, it must actually be self -evident, then it must be flexible, it needs that Feel Like the future.
People are looking for comfort in everything, and money is not different. We cannot expect your ordinary person to spend 20 hours searching for different devices, testing different applications and portfolios, then in the end its money spreads through half a scale of applications and devices.
People need to be able to open any device and any application and be able to access any bitcoin available for spending. This will not happen magically in itself. It requires work. Cooperation requires standards. This requires the engineering work that does not make the main headlines to seize attention.
Breez has completely killed in terms of doing this type of work. Other examples are BDK and LDK from a spiral and libraries to build applications or combine bitcoin and lightning into the existing applications. The Connect Wallet Connect (NWC) is another example of the criteria for interconnection. PSBT standard in BIP 174 by Ava Chow is another. We need to amplify this energy and direction significantly.
Bitcoin will not succeed in its goal of adopting it if people face a fragmented scene of different walled gardens, or uncomfortable ways to use different tools together with friction.
Bitcoin should be everywhere, smoothly, included in everything.
