Bitcoin design community has officially announced Designathon 2025A two -week global event on the period from 4 to 18 May, 2025, aims to transform the user experience from Bitcoin through creativity, design and cooperation, according to a press statement sent to Bitcoin magazine.
In contrast to the traditional Hackaths that defines the priorities of the code, Designathon 2025 aims to develop the user experience and access to the medium, and invite participants from all backgrounds – not only professional designers – to help form the next generation of bitcoin and facades.
“With the continued growth worldwide, the intuitive and accessible design has become very important to the prevailing adoption,” and the organizers mentioned in the press statement. “Designathon creates space for designers to face the challenges of user experience that may be ignored in technically focused events.”

Designathon 2025 follows a lower flexible schedule of pressure with three main touch points: starting call, arrival in the middle of the event, and conclusion. Participants can work in their pace, either by presenting their project idea or joining a current team. The event will also witness live workshops and design jam, with the aim of enhancing creativity and cooperation across time areas.
