In August 2024, PowerZrt successfully launched the transformation and modernization of a communication data warehouse infrastructure at the site of a strategic system integrator within Deutsche Telekom’s international partner network. The goal of the project is to establish a modern, highly available, scalable, and multi-cloud-compatible data management environment that meets the complex data handling demands of contemporary telecommunications services.
The system is built on the VMware vSphere 8.x platform, with redundant ESXi servers deployed per distributor. The new data warehouse structure is based on a combination of PostgreSQL 14 and ClickHouse engines, enabling real-time processing, analysis, and visualization of various types of network traffic and event data. The system’s expansion is supported by a hybrid cloud environment integrated with both OpenStack and Azure platforms, ensuring continuous data service availability across a continental network.
PowerZrt’s responsibilities include the migration of the virtualized infrastructure, performance optimization, and redundant synchronization of data streams between different data center nodes. System security is ensured through hardware-based TPM support and TLS 1.3-based encrypted data connections.
The technical implementation partner for the project is the German-based DataLayer Systems GmbH, which is involved in multiple Deutsche Telekom network monitoring and traffic aggregation projects.
This development is another strong example of PowerZrt’s ability to efficiently and systematically modernize and integrate enterprise-level international IT systems — particularly in environments where data security, fault tolerance, and scalability are not just expectations but essential operational requirements.
