- The Mica license joins the MIFID and AIFM licenses that Coinshares keeps in the European Union.
On July 23, Coinshares Asset Management announced that it had obtained a market for encryption origins (MICA).
The principal license is granted to all member states in the European Economic Zone. It was granted by Autorité des marchés from France (AMF).
It works in 29 European Union states with one coordinated organizational framework
per The company’s announcementCoinshares is the first director of the organization under organization in Europe to receive this mandate under the European Union MICA organization.
As a result of this approval, it is now allowed for Saint Helier, the company that is based in the saint to provide the services of the encryption portfolio management through the 27 countries.
Simply put, Coinshares does not need separate licenses to work in other European Union countries because this individual organizational framework covers them all.
The company has already performed operations in Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and five other member states of the European Union. Obtaining a MICA license opens the door for more expansion within these countries and beyond.
This is the Coinshares opportunity to provide a professional portfolio management through the 33 trillion euros.
Jean -Marie Monte, CEO and co -founder of Coinshares, said that obtaining a MICA from AMF is a major landmark, not only for the battles but for the entire European digital asset industry.
He believes that the asset managers in the encryption space have been limited to partial or improvised regulatory frameworks for a very long time.
“With Mika, we now have a clear and consistent structure across the European Union,” added Mognetti.
Regardless of the MICA license, Coinshares holds MIFID and AIFM licenses, which also allows them to provide the advice of organized portfolios management and investment advice in both traditional and digital assets.
He is also proud to be the only main European asset manager who maintains all three licenses.

In addition, Coinbase plans to transfer its European headquarters from Ireland to Luxembourg, taking advantage of the country’s thinking approach to digital innovation and financial infrastructure.
The most prominent exchange of the American cryptocurrency is that this step can indicate an important progress of the ecosystem of the encrypted currency throughout Europe.
In May, the Capital Market Authority (FMA) in Austria agreed to the Mica BYBIT license. This exchange is offered, then, to expand its operations in the European Union.
It was registered under the 636180i commercial number, the European Unbit was approved by a law to work as a casp asset service provider in the European market.

These team members will be responsible for facilitating the start of encryption services designed for the regulatory landscapes of the European Union.
