Before diving in the summary, I would like to say thank you. On behalf of the entire team at the Bitcoin Policy Institute, thanks to everyone who attended, supported, speaking, seized or participated in any way. We spent months preparing for the third Bitcoin Policy Summit. What is revealed in Washington last week has passed anything that we can expect.
More than 1,000 people joined us: builders, policy makers, students, agency employees, journalists, energy experts and human rights advocates. What they found was not a party wearing his clothes as a conference, but it is a two-day dangerous working session that reflects the extent of the Bitcoin-and where it is going.
A long time ago, Bitcoin was understood in the capital. It was easy for politicians to reject or ignore him. But the 2025 summit sent a different sign: Bitcoin will not disappear. It is not on the sidelines. It is at the emerging talks center on the national strategy, economic strength, digital rights and innovation.
Welcome to the tone
We opened the week with a packed welcome party, participating in her hosting with our friends in Pubkey. For strangers, the capital may appear a rigid-button, official, slow-moving city. But if you are spending a real time here, you know the truth: the capital is working on relationships. Relationships are built in places like this.
More than 450 of those present in a room that gathered with direct karaoke, strong cocktails (screaming so that they are not obtained for their old bull -style innovation and muleer), and a continuous conversation. He was loud. She was happy. But most of all, it was dangerous energy. Bitcoiners arrived.
That was in the room
This year’s summit brought:
- More than more than those present
- 300+ professionals for public policy
- 35 Congress office, including 12 members of Congress
- 100+ employees of the federal government
- 50+ members of the press
- 49 universities
- 90,000+ broadcasting broadcasts
Among the attendees were national security experts, financial organizers, tank research analysts, open source, non -profit leaders, and more. Bitcoin alliance expands, and showed.
What we talked about
The program was organized on clear topics: national security, energy, privacy, financial integration and legislative strategy. Keys, paintings and lightning conversations have made a space for both technical depth and wide vision.
In the opening part, select Zak Shapiro BPI national strategic framework -Seeing the American Bitcoin leadership is based on open source values, flexibility, and aspiration policy. This was followed by a A sharp committee on the priorities of the SenateIncluding bitcoin law.

Alex Lesman threw a conversation rich in data on American Bitcoin feature Why are our institutions, capital markets, and law of law put the United States to lead. Alex Galastein brought the human rights lens to life, to remind the room that Bitcoin is still the most powerful freedom technology in the twenty -first century.
Patrick Witt, Deputy President of the President of the Digital Asset, Repeat, Strategic attention to management in BitcoinAnd highlighting continuous progress:
“There will be the next report on the Interagingy activities. We have already taken some steps with SPR. The question now is, how can we follow this with the accumulation plan? There is no shortage of opportunities and work to be done. So after we leave here, I will return to that.”
Two Democrats, Representative Richie Torres (D-Ny) and MP Josh Jotimer joined D-NJ (D-NJ) The Blockchain regulatory law has made two parties from the two parties.
At one point during the plate, MP Torres noticed,
“Bitcoin value is safer than the value of gold because you can always find more gold, but bitcoin supplies in the world will remain permanently fixed.”
Representative Gottheimer, who recently signed as a participant sponsorship of the draft law, joined MP Torres on the stage to explain his decision to participate in sponsoring the bill and emphasizing the importance of protecting creators and preserving the integrity of the ecosystem for open source development.

In one of the most highly effective sessions, BPI’s Zak Shapiro sat with SEC Hyster Pearce To discuss ETF structure, qualified nursery, and what the future of financial infrastructure may seem from Bitcoin. It was detailed, honest and objective – exactly what you call this moment.

Working hours, question and answers room
New this year, we have presented organized working hours: individual sessions where those present can sit with our research colleagues. These talks were dug in mining, privacy, organization, and cash strategy in an unhelpful environment.
The Question and Answers Room added another layer of depth. The CEO of Cygnal Brent Bokanan walked via A. A modern poll Of the 800 possible average voters. The results were clear: Bitcoiners became a political circle. Ignore them for your own responsibility.
Anna Chekhovich also led Bitcoin 101, the founding session of Policy makers, which destroyed the basics of bitcoin in a clear language, rooted in her global human rights work.
Bitcoin on the hill

BPI A day on the hill The largest coordinated effort has been marked so far for Bitcoin advocates participating directly with legislators. More than 120 attendees participated in 118 assertive meetings with Congress offices:
- 48 Senate offices
- 70 house office
- More than 10 meetings at the member level
- Offices of 68 democratic and 50 republics
- Representation from 28 states, the capital, and American lands
This was not a performance. It was a strategy. For many in Congress, these were the first real conversations it had with the serious Bitcoin advocates that depend on the task.
Reflections
What has emerged this year was a tone. Bitcoins came to wear clothes. It is not like, but as a sign. We came to engage seriously. The excitement in the room was not a noise – it was relaxed in focusing, preparing and common feeling that this moment is important.
The capital responded. Political makers and employees were not only open. They asked good questions. Listen. The distance between Bitcoin and Washington shrinks, quickly.
Personally, the most surprising perception was that General Z appeared in strength. The number of young people was not only in the room – their presence was. They were participating, sharp, curious, and truly excited to be part of the conversation. I visited more conferences than I could rely on, and this was the first time that my colleagues who did not watch the side lines felt. They were in that – Questions, Leadership Dialogue, Future of the Future. Better of all, we just start.
This is only the beginning
The Bitcoin Policy Institute is uniquely located to host a summit that does not answer anyone but its mission. Bitcoin does not ask for a special treatment. It does not press the bulletins. It presents a case, on the basis of the foundations, due to the importance of American sovereignty, innovation and economic freedom.
This condition only got ignored.
We see you next year.
