“Nor does not publicly recognize the penetration,” Arkham wrote in X.
The intelligence company claims that Lubian controls nearly 6 % of the total Bitcoin retail in May 2020, making it one of the largest mining pools in the world. The company worked in China and Iran.
Data provided by Arkham shows that the reason behind the penetration is the Lubian algorithm responsible for creating special keys. The method “was subject to brute force attacks.”
The Chinese mining worker sent a set of OP_RUTURN messages to the addresses of infiltrators, and asked for the return of the box and the promising rewards.
“For whitehat that saves our origins, you can contact us,” Lubian wrote in a pirate message.
The response did not arrive.
The money did not move. However, the pirate address received multiple test transactions from Binance, the largest exchange of cryptocurrencies, in September 2024.
Its value is now $ 14.5 billion, as Bitcoin is trading near the $ 114,000 mark. This eclipse of BYBIT penetration of $ 1.5 billion in February.
